A perspective candidate will:

• Have practical knowledge of laboratory and/or computational techniques used in protein biochemistry, molecular biology or structural biology. Expertise in protein interaction assays will also be an asset. Previous experience in the preparation of samples for structural biology studies (X-ray crystallography and/or cryo-EM) will be advantageous.
• Have documented research achievements, including a publication record and active participation in conference presentations
• Be determined to acquire new skills, embrace challenges and demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team;
• Have a very good command of English language;

Your responsibilities as part of the research group will include:

• Performing protein production and purification
• Discovery and validation of novel protein interactions
• Crystallization and structure determination of protein-protein and protein-DNA complexes
• Critical analysis and interpretation of the obtained results in a form of reports and presentations
• Active participation in seminars of the research group, faculty seminars and/or scientific conferences and trainings

Only selected candidates will be invited to an interview conducted in English. Interview information will be sent to invited candidates by email. The successful candidate will be selected by a committee chaired by the project leader. The competition may close when no suitable candidate fulfilling the above requirements is found.
